Experience

Authentic Oyster & Mussel Tasting in Ston Bay

The excursion lasts approximately one and a half hours, but we can always adjust it to the guests’ needs and preferences.

We start from the small maritime village of Hodilje, where guests embark on a small 10-meter boat or a larger boat for bigger groups. The first stop is an oyster and mussel farm, where we explain the production process and share insights about our tradition.

After that, the boat continues to our private peninsula, where guests can enjoy oysters fresh from the sea in a unique natural setting. The tasting includes a welcome grappa, local wine, and a light lunch featuring mussels prepared in traditional “buzara” sauce.

All of our guests receive a fully personalized experience, where we dedicate our time to their interests and answer any questions about our produce.

This excursion is special because guests have the unique opportunity to taste fresh shellfish directly from the sea in the authentic atmosphere of the Ostrog peninsula.
